Erin Seeton
AssociateErin Seeton is an associate at the firm’s Fairfax office where she works with clients throughout their family law issues in Northern Virginia. Originally from Texas, Erin earned her law degree from the George Washington University Law School in May 2021. Prior to law school, Erin attended the University of Alabama. During law school, Erin focused on family law and child advocacy as her area of interest. She interned for the American Bar Association’s Center on Children and the Law, focusing on the Center’s kinship care project, working to make the legal system easier to navigate for grandparents who are the primary caregivers for their minor grandchildren. Erin also worked at the GW Family Justice Litigation Clinic where she represented clients in cases involving custody, child support, and domestic violence. In her final semester of law school, Erin was a judicial intern for the Honorable Deborah J. Israel on the Domestic Relations calendar of the DC Superior Court.
In addition to her work experience, Erin received a Presidential Volunteer Service Award for performing over 250 hours of pro bono legal service during law school. Many of those pro bono hours were spend working with the DC Bar’s Family Law Pro Bono Project, assisting pro se litigants in DC Superior Court with drafting their court documents and helping guide them through their options within the family court system.
